What is RYLA?
The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership training program for rising high school seniors who show strong leadership potential. Sponsored by Rotary clubs across the world, RYLA provides young leaders an opportunity to grow through team-building, leadership development, and real-world challenges — all in a fun and inspiring environment!
RYLA 6840 for 2025 will be held July 13–18, 2025 at the Solomon Episcopal Conference Center in Loranger, Louisiana.
All costs (lodging, meals, and activities) are paid by the Rotary Club of Bay St. Louis.

What to Expect at RYLA
- Leadership development workshops led by experienced Rotarians and RYLA alumni
- Team-building activities designed to boost confidence and problem-solving skills
- Discussions on ethics, responsibility, and service
- Fun recreational activities that build lifelong friendships
- Networking opportunities with fellow students and Rotary leaders
- Application of the Rotary Four-Way Test in real-world situations
Throughout the camp, students will enhance their leadership, embrace teamwork, and develop communication skills that will serve them in college, careers, and community life.
